Registered Nurse - Per Diem
A registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Staff Nurse must be able to demonstrate knowledge, skills and compassion necessary to provide care, based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: A preference of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Nevada State Board of Nursing. Must have a valid driver's license.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR certification and successful completion of Crisis Prevention Institute Certification including restraint and seclusion policies within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures, and prior to assisting in a restraining process.
