Admissions

Residential Treatment for Adolescents

The reality for many living with a serious mental illness is support can be hard to come by. Willow Springs Center is here to help those who need us most – teens struggling with significant psychiatric, emotional and behavioral problems who need advanced treatment.

To be considered for admission, patients must be in need of 24-hour care in a setting which is less restrictive than an acute hospital. Patients need to have attempted and failed outpatient therapy, or partial hospitalization or an intensive outpatient therapy program.

Pursuant to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Willow Springs Center does not discriminate in admissions or provision of services, on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age or disability (including AIDS and related conditions).

TRICARE RTC Authorization Applications

For your convenience, below are the applications that TRICARE® will need to be completed by your child’s psychiatrist/psychologist.

Referrals

Residential Psychiatric Services

Referrals for admission come from families, psychiatric hospitals, addictions professionals, DETOX programs, parents, physicians, psychologists, therapists, school counselors, sober coaches, interventionists, community agencies, probation officers or other concerned individuals.

The treatment team reviews all clinical information submitted by referral families and/or referral sources to determine if the child/adolescent is appropriate for Willow Springs Center’s treatment programs. If admission is not recommended, the admissions office provides quality referrals and resources to assist families in locating other levels of care or an appropriate program.

At Willow Springs Center, inquiry calls are answered 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Parents, guardians and referring professionals seeking information or treatment can call our assessment and referral department at 775-858-3303.
